How to Join VRBO

Now that you know what VRBO is and how to use it safely, it's time to start using it! The first step is to create an account on the website. Actually, there are two types of accounts on the website: one if you want to list your property for rent, and one if you want to rent other people's properties. This tutorial will show you how to create the latter one, called a "traveler" account.
To join VRBO with a traveler account
1. Go to www.vrbo.com in your web browser. In the top-right corner, click Log In, and then click Traveler Log In.
2. Under "Sign Into VRBO", next to "Need an Account?", click Sign Up.
3. Fill out the sign-up form by clicking in the respective boxes and typing in your first name, last name, email address, and a password to use. Then click Sign Me Up.
Pro Tip
If you have a Facebook account, you can click Sign In with Facebook and log into your Facebook account. This will allow you to use your Facebook account credentials for your VRBO account.
4. Once your account has been created, click Continue to go back to VRBO. (You can edit your profile later by clicking on your name at the top of the screen and selecting My Profile.)
5. To finish setting up your account, you must verify your email address. Go to your email client and log in. Find the email labelled "Action Needed: Verify Your New VRBO Account" and click it to open it.
Click the yellow Activate My Account button to complete the set-up process for your account.
6. You'll be taken to a splash page confirming your account registration. Simply click Continue to go back to the VRBO home page.
