What are Priceline coupons?
Priceline coupons are special codes that provide discounts when you book hotels online through Priceline’s “Express Deals” or “Name Your Own Price” systems. You can receive them from Priceline, usually from signing up from their newsletter, but occasionally from promotions the company runs on its website.
How Priceline coupons work
Priceline coupons can be applied against the booking cost when you checkout on the website, after selecting your travel details. Enter the coupon code when you check out, click Apply, and they will deduct a dollar value from your total booking cost under “Summary of Charges” on your bill.
Some general things to remember about its coupons:
- Coupons can only be used when booking hotels, as opposed to flights or car rentals.
- Coupons can only be used when booking a hotel through the “Express Deals” or “Name Your Own Price” systems. They cannot be used when booking a hotel normally.
- Coupons cannot be used more than once. This also means that if you use a coupon on a booking and then have an issue with the booking (e.g. you miss it or have to cancel it), your coupon cannot be refunded.
- If you have multiple coupons, you cannot use more than one on the same booking.
- You do not need to have an account on Priceline to use coupons.

How to get Priceline coupons
The main way to get these coupons is to sign up for Priceline’s email newsletter. This can be done by going to Priceline’s website, scrolling down to the section labelled “Sign Up For Exclusive Email-Only Coupons,” click the box labelled “Enter Your Email Address,” type in your email address, and then click Go.
From there, check your email inbox occasionally… you may get a coupon in an email!
You can also find coupons that other people have posted on virtual coupon websites around the Internet, such as DealsPlus, GoodShop, and even Groupon.com! They look something like this (though you may need to click a button that says Get Coupon Code, or something to that effect, first).
How to use Priceline coupons
To use a Priceline coupon, simply begin the process of booking a hotel through the “Express Deals” or “Name Your Own Price” system. When you reach the screen where you have to pay for your booking, scroll down to the “Summary of Charges” section and click Apply Coupon in the bottom-right corner.
Click in the box that appears and type in your coupon code. Then click Apply.
If your coupon code is accepted, you will see a new line under “Summary of Charges” labelled “Priceline Hotel Coupon,” with the amount of money that will be deducted from your booking price.
